Born from the artisanal tradition of Cervera del Rio Alhama, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the birthplace of espadrilles, this footwear is hand-stitched by artisans from La Rioja. The upper is made of Espiga fabric (herringbone/chevron weave) in an arena (sand) color with subtle golden and beige stripes that create a natural and sophisticated texture, combined with a coordinating suede heel. The essential simplicity of the textile pattern makes this footwear extremely versatile and refined. The closure is ensured by elastic criss-cross laces that allow for a comfortable and immediate fit. The wedge with a platform is entirely covered in hand-woven jute rope. The sole is finished with a vulcanized rubber outsole, completing footwear that celebrates the authenticity of Spanish craftsmanship.
