The Vidorreta Tejido Espiga espadrille represents the excellence of Mediterranean summer style, combining the naturalness of materials with a feminine and elegant silhouette. Born from the artisan tradition of Cervera del Rio Alhama, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the cradle of espadrilles, this shoe is hand-sewn by the craftsmen of La Rioja. The upper is crafted in Espiga fabric (herringbone/chevron weave) in arena colour with subtle gold and beige stripes that create a natural and sophisticated texture, combined with a coordinated suede heel. The essential simplicity of the textile pattern makes this shoe extremely versatile and refined. The closure is provided by crossed elastic laces for a comfortable and immediate fit. The wedge with platform is entirely covered in hand-braided jute rope. The sole is finished with a vulcanised rubber outsole, completing a shoe that celebrates the authenticity of Spanish craftsmanship.
